Tassi Talk

Oh, how I love my Tassi! let me count the ways!! I know I’m going to sound like an infomercial on this one, but I can’t help myself. Do you ever find yourself so passionate about something that you start promoting it to anyone that will listen? My latest discovery is something that I got for Christmas and refused to try for 8 months, now I refuse to take it off. The Tassi is a super absorbent double elastic terry cloth hair wrap (your hair sits in the terry cloth between the two pieces of covered elastic) and I would wear in public if it was socially acceptable.

Sometimes I hate being a girl and the time that it takes to get ready. On weekends, I just want to lounge around when I get out of the shower, or let my hair air dry, but I don’t want to lay on my couch with a wet towel on my head? The Tassi is so absorbent and comfy that I have fallen asleep in it a few times without my pillow getting wet. No more bulky towel turbans are necessary. Now I’m so attached that I wear it around the house (more often than I should admit) because it keeps my hair out of my face. I can easily wash my face without my hairline getting wet and don’t have to take the time to put in a ponytail holder. The Tassi is much more comfy than a ponytail holder because you can lean back on your couch without a ponytail sticking out of the back of your head, and its much better on your hair.

Have I covered everything that I love about it? Oh, and they come in a variety of colors. I have teal, which is quite alarming when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I hope Santa puts a white one in my stocking this year. My friends laugh at me and think that I’ve lost it. They’re probably right. Just thought I’d share my discovery with the rest of the world.

Wow! These wraps fit perfectly and work so much better than towels and shower caps. Just as described, they don’t leave creases in your hair, but still do a great job of protecting your hair from cleansing/facial products. I’m going to stock up for the holidays–they’ll be great tuck-away gifts for co-workers and unexpected guests.

What a great idea these are! They definitely keep my hair back without ruining my hairdo. Great for any facial routine. I use one to keep my hair back while I sit by my home pool and I can still wear a sunhat over it; I even used it while doing my home exercise…no more headbands, hair clips, or pulling my hair into a ponytail that meant a total hairdo redo! Love that the elastic doesn’t squeeze.

I LOVE this product! I just had to buy this when I saw it. I have bangs and long hair, so I was always forever clipping my hair off my face when I wash my face in the morning and evening. It holds my hair off my face but is not too tight, and I tuck the rest of my hair inside the elastic. I would recommend this to anyone! I got pink and green, and I gave the green one to my son who uses an acne product. His hair is kinda long, and even though he thought it was silly, when he used it, he said it was very effective. I wasn’t sure how these were going to work, but I am glad I bought them! You can bend over the sink without your hair getting in the way, and it does not press my bangs into a funny shape or anything. Much better than a hairband. I am going to keep one in my suitcase for traveling, too.

These are awesome! Very comfortabIe and doesn’t give me a headache like most headbands do. I use it mainly to keep hair out of my eyes when doing housework. Works great for washing your face and applying makeup. My husband does make fun of me though, he says it looks like a shower cap!!!

I can’t wash my face, use a facial mask/peel, or put on my makeup without this product. Truly a unique problem solver for me; gave one of mine to my daughter, so am ordering another set. Great to wear during bubble baths, too.

I purchased four of these hair wraps….and gave them to different family members. It is perfect for putting on makeup, washing the face and applying masks and gels…but I also thought it was great for reducing migraine and headache pain. I placed a small plastic bag full of ice cubes and situated them underneath the hair wrap, so that the ice would not move around. It gives great relief and any excess water is immediately soaked up by the terry cloth fabric.

Before I received the TASSI I would use either a scrunchie or two to three mini clips to keep my hair up and away from my face. What was I thinking? What a pain!What a terrible effect it had on my hair! I knew there had to be a better way to keep my hair out of my face when I was cleansing, moisturizing or applying makeup. I was right! There is a better way and it is the TASSI!

The TASSI has been a wonderful compliment to my daily routine. So simple to use and yet so extremely effective. With a wide band that tapers from bottom to top it carefully holds all your hair in place and away from your skin. No more hair falling out of the clip or scrunchie. Plus because of the Terry Cloth material it is gentle to your hair and doesn’t mess up your hairstyle. Yes, I can fix my hair first, then apply my makeup and NOT have to worry about fixing my hairstyle all over! I also discovered it is a wonderful way to keep damp hair away from your clothes. It is not heavy like a towel and it doesn’t budge or bind around your head. Simple, comfortable and effective…the TASSI should be in every women’s makeup case!

This is such a neat concept! It is like a headband, but the bottom part is almost built like a hairnet. So, it keeps your hair out of your face and keeps it corralled so it doesn’t fall over your shoulder when you bend.

I LOVE IT!! I don’t use it as intended everyday, but I do use for those times when I have fixed my hair before fixing my face. I have not yet had to re-fix my hair! It doesn’t leave dents that ponytail holders and headbands leave!

I also stick it on my head after getting out of the pool. The soft terry-cloth material soaks up the moisture so it doesn’t drip everywhere!

Christmas is getting closer and closer. As a busy mom, I spend all year looking for neat gifts for people that aren’t super expensive. I am buying several of these for my older nieces and our exchange students… at $14.95, it is a great deal. Don’t forget stocking stuffers!

Now here is a product that makes you say “I can’t believe I never thought of that!” I have always struggled with keeping my bangs and the front of my hair back when washing my face. But now thanks to Tassi, this issue is nonexistent!

I am so pleased with this product. The hair wraps are extremely soft. They fit comfortably on my head and they serve their purpose well. They keep my hair completely out of the way and off my face and neck. I primarily use them in the morning and at night when cleansing/moisturizing my face & neck. However, it appears that they can be used for any reason in which you need to keep your hair out the way (basically without messing up your hair). In addition, the elasticized design is right on the money in that it keeps the hair wrap in place on your head, but it isn’t tight and doesn’t cause any discomfort. I can honestly say, Tassi is one of my favorite products. I keep it in the bathroom and I use it daily. I use it every morning when I wash my face and I use it if I’m applying makeup. I use it when I bake. I have used it when I clean. I use it every evening to wash my face. I have used it to hold back my hair while I read a book. I use it when I treat myself to wonderful facial masque. I’ve used it in the bath. I have even used it in the shower. What is a Tassi? Well, it’s one of those products that you use once and decide you can’t live without it. I wonder how I ever made it through the day without it. I have never been a fan of headbands. You know, the Velcro type that holds back your hair so you can get through your morning routine. My experience with them has not been great. They slip and after a few months, they no longer hold. My longer hair would fall forward when I washed my face and I would end up with soap or a facial masque all over the ends of my hair. I don’t like shower caps because most of them make me feel like my head is in an oven. I like my showers hot, and caps make me sweat. The Tassi is not waterproof, but when I use it in the shower it keeps my hair out of the way. It’s easy to use and even easier to love! Tassi does not flatten, twist or mess up your “do,” and it’s perfect for protecting second-day blowouts. It’s machine washable too!

I love when someone (and I wish were me) takes a basic daily need and comes up with a fantastic affordable solution! Love these wraps!!! I have stubborn, poker-straight chin length hair with bangs and this is the ONLY hair wrap/band solution that doesn’t dent my hair after I’ve washed my face and take it off. Before the wraps I looked like the character in the movie “What About Mary”! Not a pretty sight! I can’t figure out how it works but as long as it does I’ll keep buying and recommending them! I have a Tassi and I love it! Usually I have to use a rubberband AND a headband to keep my hair out of my face when I wash it but with the Tassi it’s just one step and like Katie said it doesn’t make dents in my hair like rubberbands do. I use my every night and it makes me smile. If you have long hair like I do make sure to put all your hair in it – don’t use it like a headband. It is tough enough to hold all your hair. I heart my Tassi!

I have long, thick hair, and have used scrunchies or elastic bands to keep my hair off my face. Unfortunately after having my hair pulled back for a while, I would develop a headache. Headbands were no better, usually slipping almost immediately, and if they didn’t, it wasn’t long before I had a headache from those too. I also had issues with hair breakage or damage from using those items.
THEN I found Tassi!!! OMG where has this product been all my life…lol. I am thrilled about how well it works to keep my hair out of my face, off my neck, and without damaging my hair. I liked these from the first use. They hold my hair out of my face (something that my wide headband did not do) and stretch enough to get on and off easily. They are softer than a shower cap, so they just work better to me for washing my face. They would make great gifts too.

I love these! I am always looking for something to hold my hair back when I am either putting on my makeup or washing my face … these wraps are the answer. Weather you have long or short hair they will work for you. I keep one my my travel bag and the other in my bathroom for everyday use. One of their best points is that kyou can just throw them into the washer and you’ll have a nice and clean new hair wrap. On top of being so usful, they are also “cute”. I can’t believe how great this item is. It holds your hair off your face but never leaves any dents in your hair no matter how long you keep it on. The Tassi is one of the greatest hair products I have used. Long or short hair it doesn’t matter The Tass will work great. I have short hair and sometimes my hair irritates my face, with clips or headbands I had fly-a-ways but not with the Tassi every hair is off my face. I gave one as a gift to my sister with longer hair, she she loves it as well and commented she never used anything that has come close to it. Anyone thinking about buying it, you willl love it.

I thought it may be a bit pricey to buy headbands to pull back my hair, but let me tell you…this was THE BEST money ever spent on a product. I gave one as a gift and then accidentally left mine in a hotel room. I actually had to get online and purchase a replacement the second I got home. They truly become that invaluable. They wash up beautifully, keep their shape, are extremely comfortable and feel fabulous! I recommend it to anyone. I have wanted to buy some for gifts, but I’m not sure I could part with them once they arrive. Go ahead and try them-you won’t be disappointed.

I absolutely love my Tassi!!! So much so I just sent this email to my girlfriend who buys for Sephora. Kathryn – I am not sure what your job description (Buyer for Sephora) is but from what you told me you get to find cool stuff to sell at Sephora (dream job – let me know if there are any openings…EVER!). Well I think I am just about as cool as Oprah so I make “My Favorite things” list every year around Christmas (not joking) and create gift bags for my family and friends with all the stuff I can’t live without. This year I am including my new favorite thing ever!!! I don’t know how I lived without it before and everytime I see them at a beauty boutique I want to buy another…..just incase (precautionary measures if my sister visits and happens to leave with my coveted tassi! I am not sure if I am behind the times and you already know about this product but JUST IN CASE I thought I would let you in on it. I have the hot pink one and I use it every night and every morning when I wash my face. And since I just got these hair extensions in, I use it to keep my hair back around the house so I don’t pull on the extensions and loosen them or give me a headache.

I love Tassi ! I am one of those people who hates having my hair on my face. One reason why I never tried bangs. The closest to bangs I came was side swept long bangs that can be pined up easily without any hair escaping out. With long hair its a pain to wash my face without getting the ends of it wet or without piling it high on my head. And then came Tassi ….the bright vibrant colors just draw you to the product like the Sephora at the mall.

I use my Tassi every night while reading before bed. Its great when you have a face masque on or are doing you makeup or just about anything where you don’t want your hair interfering.

I even wish I could wear it while I drive with my window down, so no hair gets out but neither is anything tugging so hard, wanting me to pull it out. Tassi softly envelopes my hair and keeps it in its place.

I am a 25-year-old woman who, after a decade of fighting acne, finally found something that works. The problem is, this regimen involves putting treatment on your face about half an hour after getting out of the shower, to give your skin time to thoroughly dry. I have very curly hair, so if I could put the treatment on my face right after the shower, with my hair sopping wet, that would be fine, and I could style my hair after. But half an hour after the shower is the worst time to mess with curly hair! Whatever I tried, ponytail or headband, would determine how I would have to wear my hair for the rest of the day. Luckily, I found Tassi. Now my morning routine works perfectly: emerge from shower; style hair; put hair in Tassi; treat my face; wait another 15 minutes for face to dry, all the while hair is drying a little in Tassi, but not affecting the hairstyle. After years of terry headbands and clips to keep my longer than shoulder length, layered hair out of my face, an invention arises that I wish I could pride mysef on having invented! Ok, I bought two sets…figured I could give as gifts…love love love this. The main reason I got this is because my hair is thick and right about shoulder length…when I get into the shower and wrap it up in a towel…my head gets too hot during the shower & I can’t stop sweating after! This allows my hair to be up and out of the way..but the top of my head to be out so I can get air in there…and not overheat! Getting older ya know! OMG….why couldn’t I have thought of this! These are wonderful! They keep my hair off my face and now I don’t have to worry about the hair in the back swinging around to my face and getting wet while washing my face. Plus, as others have said, they don’t leave a dent in my hair like a headband or ponytail holder does. One of the most annoying things about long hair is it’s always in your way. I’m always getting wisps of hair in my cleanser, moisturizer, etc. Not any more! These wraps hold all of your hair securely and comfortably. One is going in my suitcase so I don’t forget it when I travel.

I have shoulder length hair and will hopefully never be without these brilliantly inventive hair wraps! As marketed, they are excellent to use while washing your face but I find that I’m using them for so much more. I love using mine while I’m on my treadmill and need my hair off my neck. I also use them when I’m housecleaning and working up a sweat vacuuming. They also work perfect when I put my Philosophy hair marinade on my hair at night and I need to cover my hair while I sleep. I constantly use a headband or a shower cap to hold my hair back when I wash my makeup off at night or put my make-up on in the morning. The shower cap smashes/dents my hair and the headbands don’t keep my hair from landing on the liquid makeup I use and if I am washing my face, my hair always falls forward and gets wet.
Let me tell you – I POSITIVELY LOVE THESE Tassies and have ordered even more to give away! This gizmo rocks! I’ve had these about a week now and I just love them. I cut my hair a few months ago in the front and it was a hassle to have to tie the long hair up and then put on a headband just to wash my face and this is the perfect solution. I even sleep with one one now to try to prevent the hair on the sides and back along the hairling from rubbing on the pillow all night. I keep one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom. Perfect. I bought this because I’ve been using a bandana to keep my hair out of my face. I use this everyday and sometimes when I’m lounging around my apt. I have short hair, so I was worried it would fall out of this, it doesn’t. Holds my hair back very well. It is comfortable enough to sleep in as well. I used it last night for the first time and really enjoyed how nicely it kept my hair away from my face and my hairline water free. It is made out of stretchy terry material and feels, oh so soft. Because of its unique construction, shaped like a headband but act kind of like a bag, Tassi will hold an entire head of hair, even long, and the best part?… Unlike headbands, clips or ponytails it won’t mess up your hair at all. Now that I own these Tassies, I cannot imagine going without them. They perform exactly as advertised. Love, love, love them. Because I use this product at least twice a day (am and pm), having a set of two is fabulous; I can throw one in the laundry and I still have the other to use. I think this is a must own product for anyone with hair long enough to touch his/her face while washing, etc. My hair is thick and falls to about my shoulder blades. It all fits nicely in the Tassi.

Another great idea for using the Tassi is when you exercise. I run my own business from home and sell several great health, skin care, etc. . . products. I bought the Tassi and will be using them for my skin care classes. Also, I am disabled and have to exercise and work with a personal trainer. I love the Tassi for working out. I am a Mary Kay Sales Director. I have been using the Tassi for 5 years now and absolutely love it. I use it when I wash my face. My hair stays dry and unlike using a clip or headband, the Tassi pulls the hair off the back of my neck and I can wash my neck. The Tassi also does not mess up my hair.
