Secrets of the Tassi Sisterhood
August 29th, 2008Wendy Atterberry at “The Modern Materialist” posted the following under the title “Secrets of the Tassi Sisterhood”:
There’s something wrong with this picture. Any guess what it might be? The women out there reading this will probably have an easier time figuring this one out. Give up? Okay: Where’s her headband? Seriously, how many of you actually wash your faces without something holding your hair out of your face? If you answered “I do!”, then it’s time to invest in one of these:
It’s a Tassi Headband and sure, it’s not exactly a fashion statement, but neither is wet, soapy hair plastered to your face.

Sonoran Living Live
August 18th, 2008This morning I appeared on the television show Sonoran Living Live, which is produced by ABC15 in Phoenix, Arizona. While we were waiting to go on, some of the other guests and crew kept coming up and asking how they could get the Tassi.
We prepared some great Tassi gift basket ideas for the show that you’ll see in the video. Check it out.
Kiss and Make-Up says Tassi is a Keeper!
August 10th, 2008A great Tassi review by Lydia at Kiss and Make-Up. Here is an excerpt:
The Tassi held my hair up off the back of my neck while keeping my bangs out of my face and out of the way. It did just what it said it would. And when I was done with my face washing, I just pulled the Tassi off, shook out my hair, and was able to style my locks quickly. Sometimes, using clips and elastics would leave funny bumps or ridges in my hair…not so with the Tassi!
The final verdict? This is a keeper! What an easy way to keep the hair out of your face without destroying your ‘do. This would be a great stocking stuffer for Christmas, or just a great anytime gift for your favorite girly-girl. One final thought: because this is terrycloth, you can just toss it in the washing machine if it gets dirty. It can’t get any easier!
Fun at the Beach!
August 8th, 2008We recently returned from a week at the beach in Southern California. Our family has a summer tradition (10 years and counting) of spending a week at the beach with aunts, uncles and cousins from my husband’s side of the family. This year there were 67 of us. Kind of crazy, but we had a great time!
This picture shows three generations of the Ellsworth family.

More Tassi in Japan
July 25th, 2008Tassi is being sold in Daimaru Department Stores in Japan. According to Wikipedia, Daimaru traces its history to Dai-Monjiya, a dry goods store in Kyoto founded by Shimomura Hikoemon Masahiro in 1717. The name “Daimaru” was first used for a store in Nagoya called Daimaruya, which opened in 1728. Take a look at Tassi on the Daimaru website.
Tassi is also being sold by Nissen, which is one of the leading catalog and web retailers in Japan. Here is the Tassi page on Nissen’s website.
