Kiss and Make-Up says Tassi is a Keeper!

August 10th, 2008

A great Tassi review by Lydia at Kiss and Make-Up. Here is an excerpt:

The Tassi held my hair up off the back of my neck while keeping my bangs out of my face and out of the way. It did just what it said it would. And when I was done with my face washing, I just pulled the Tassi off, shook out my hair, and was able to style my locks quickly. Sometimes, using clips and elastics would leave funny bumps or ridges in my hair…not so with the Tassi!

The final verdict? This is a keeper! What an easy way to keep the hair out of your face without destroying your ‘do. This would be a great stocking stuffer for Christmas, or just a great anytime gift for your favorite girly-girl. One final thought: because this is terrycloth, you can just toss it in the washing machine if it gets dirty. It can’t get any easier!

Fun at the Beach!

August 8th, 2008

We recently returned from a week at the beach in Southern California. Our family has a summer tradition (10 years and counting) of spending a week at the beach with aunts, uncles and cousins from my husband’s side of the family. This year there were 67 of us. Kind of crazy, but we had a great time!

This picture shows three generations of the Ellsworth family.

More Tassi in Japan

July 25th, 2008

Tassi is being sold in Daimaru Department Stores in Japan. According to Wikipedia, Daimaru traces its history to Dai-Monjiya, a dry goods store in Kyoto founded by Shimomura Hikoemon Masahiro in 1717. The name “Daimaru” was first used for a store in Nagoya called Daimaruya, which opened in 1728. Take a look at Tassi on the Daimaru website.

Tassi is also being sold by Nissen, which is one of the leading catalog and web retailers in Japan. Here is the Tassi page on Nissen’s website.

Great Review in Beauty Reviews

July 25th, 2008

Here is another great Tassi review at Beauty Reviews:

“Since I can remember I have been using headbands and ponytails to get the hair out of my face.
I love using the tassi. They come in 12 different colors and they are made of a soft terry cloth.
This is about the easiest thing to use. Check out you their website for a Demo.
It is wide so it holds all of my long thick hair out of my face and off of my neck.
With the skincare the Tassi is a must. Have you ever used a face mask and than have the mask in your hair. Or apply a moisturizer and it gets in your hair. Happens to me all the time, even if I have my hair in a band or a ponytail. The Tassi will assure that your skincare doesn’t get in your hair.
When washing my face at the bathroom sink, my hair doesn’t get wet anymore.
One of my favorites is that I can actually do my hair before my makeup. I can use my flat iron than put the tassi on, than apply my makeup and take off the tassi. My hair doesn’t get messy or knotted and with one swipe of a brush my hair looks finished.
It is very hot where I live, I love to have my hair longer, past my shoulders, but during the summer it gets to hot. We like to be outside by the pool and my husband and son are in our pool a lot and when I don’t go in the pool, I still like to be with them. I usually would use a headband to pull my hair out of my face and than would have to leave it in all day because of the dents in my hair if I took it off. Now when I need to cool off, I put on the Tassi. It works great and if I need to leave I can take it off and not have to worry about how my hair looks.

This is a great product and it is only $14.99. You must try the tassi.

Tassi – where have you been?

July 24th, 2008

Jen has good things to say about Tassi on today’s blog at Mommies with Style. Here is an excerpt:

“Everyone has their own get-ready-for-bed routine. Mine involves a whole process to safeguard my hair from water as I wash my face and remove makeup. (I have really curly hair that I straighten, so if my hair gets wet it is ruined!) I use a number of items to do this – a hair clip or rubber band, a head band to keep the hair back, and sometimes a shower cap! Whew, what an annoying ordeal!

“And then I learned about Tassi. Oh, Tassi… where have you been all of my life? This simple ingenious little product is amazing and so easy to help keep my hair out of my face, clean, and dry.”
