Tassi Makes Washing Face Easy
September 25th, 2008Holly has posted the following wonderful review of Tassi on her Citrus blog :
“Back in college I was recruited to attend a Mary Kay beauty night as a model. At first I was flattered, until I realized that about twenty Mary Kay consultants were gathered to try and sell their wares to just one person- me. Anyway, that night I learned that every night you don’t wash your face adds x amount of years of aging to your skin. I am not sure if I believe it since I should look like I am 80 by that formula- but I still guiltily think of that “factoid” every night I go to sleep with my make up still on. I was running some sort of non face washing record until I found the Tassi. It was when I looked at my skin and contemplated spending $200 for a facial at the Bliss Spa I found the Tassi and thought “Duh! Just start washing your face!”
“You see, the one reason I hate to wash my face is that I hardly ever have a headband and hair tie nearby. I have always had shortish hair with bangs and short layers that get in the way when I try to wash my face. So, rather than spend 10 minutes digging through makeup cases and drawers I just skip washing altogether.
“Since I got my Tassi about a month ago, I have washed every night! It sits atop my make up bag and takes one second to put on. I wash my face without any hair in the way or clips falling out mid-rinse. As a result, my skin is visibly grateful to have the Tassi. Take that $200 facial!
“I do feel a little silly when I wear it, but I guess not everyone can look as fab as the girls in the Tassi video.
“If pink just isn’t your fav, check out their other colors. You can use it for facials and applying makeup too. I also find it useful for the mornings I hop in the shower and don’t wash my hair (every other day). I slip on the Tassi so it keeps my hair out of the way and dry while I wash every where else. And for you hot roller ladies? I think it would be great to wear over the rollers to keep them in place till you are ready for them to come out- I was never good at pinning them in tight enough that they would stay in place for very long.
“The terry cloth is very soft and easily tossed in the washer should you get it messy with makeup. The elastic band keeps it steady while there is plenty of terry fabric so your hair doesn’t get smooshed. For example, a few times a week I manage to wake up on my non-hair washing day without bedhead! And using the Tassi to wash up doesn’t mess my hair at all.”
Thanks Holly! I think this is the most common and important use for a Tassi – to let a woman care for her face every day without hassle. I have washed my face every night for years. The Tassi makes it easy.
Holly includes a link to an excellent article by plastic surgeon Dr. Gerald Imber about the importance of nightlyl face washing to keep the wrinkles and the years away. She is also running a Tassi give away. Take a look at the great comments on Holly’s blog.

Outblush Blog Review
September 21st, 2008The following review appears on outblush.com:
Tassi Headband
The Tassi Headband ($20): One of those things you had no idea you needed until you see it. Don’t worry, we’re definitely not celebrating this as a fashion statement—but as a beauty aid, it can’t be beat. The Tassi is made of soft cotton cloth which is wider in the back than in the front. Use it to gently pin your hair up and away from your face during face washing and makeup application, then shake out your strands and you’re ready to go.
Five Star Review at Face Candy
September 15th, 2008Tassi received five stars (*****) in a review at Face Candy:
I was a bit skeptical of the Tassi when I opened it up. It looks like a huge stretched out scrunchie. I used it the traditional way, by pulling it over my head and then letting the inner part keep my bangs out of my face while washing it. Why didn’t someone think of this sooner? Fantastic. Gals with long hair will love it.

Review at Simple Finds
September 11th, 2008Here is another good Tassi review by Christie at Simple Finds:
I don’t know what it is but I cannot for the life of me keep from losing hair accessories. So at night when I go to wash my face, of course I can’t ever find one. That’s why the Tassi is so cool! It’s like a headband, only wider and it pulls back ALL your hair. It’s made from terry cloth & comes in tons of fun colors. I have to admit when I first wore my Tassi, my kids laughed for like 10 minutes and they all had to take turns wearing it! They thought it was pretty funny…But at least, there’s no more facial cleanser in my hair & I always know it will be hanging on the door, right where I left it:)
Tassi on QVC
September 8th, 2008Steeping Beauty Reviews Tassi
September 5th, 2008Tassi review at Steeping Beauty.com:
More than a headband, Tassi is the solution to keeping your hair off your face and neck. What woman isn’t sick of that perfect hairstyle going to waste because you needed to wash your face and got your hair wet. Tassi will also protect your earrings, so there’s no need to take them off.
You could get the same effect with a terry cloth shower cap BUT the Tassi is so much easier to use! Just pull it down and then back up! If your hair is long just flip into the back of the Tassi. I know you’re thinking why didn’t I think of that!
I’ve been using mine every night since I got it to wash my face. I need to get another one for the gym. I HAVE to wash my face before leaving the gym, even if I don’t take a shower, my pores get enlarged and I look flushed. Washing my face after exercise neutralizes everything a bit and helps shrink my pores.
I highly recommend the TASSI, a great gift for any lady you know!
